Felix Oduyemi is the Executive Vice President of Caleb Inland Energy serving on the Board of Directors and manages the strategic engagement and business development initiatives of the company. Mr. Oduyemi also serves as Senior Program Manager for Advanced Technology Policy and Planning at
Southern California Edison. He is responsible for policy development for Smart Grid, renewable integration, utility communication requirements, and electric transportation. He manages the department’s state and federal legislative and regulatory initiatives and coordinates its positions on land use, environmental, energy and transportation issues.
Mr. Oduyemi serves as the department’s liaison to California Council on Environment and Economic Balance (CCEEB), California Air Resources Board (CARB), California Energy Commission (CEC), and CalStart, and is appointed to various policy committees of governmental associations including League of California Cities, Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG), the California State Association of Counties (CSAC), and the National Association of Counties (NACo).
Prior to his position with Edison, Mr. Oduyemi was the Senior Regional Planner for SCAG and Senior Land Use Planner for San Bernardino County. He also served as a consultant to many cities in Southern California on land use, transportation, energy and environmental planning issues. Mr. Oduyemi holds a B.S in Urban and Regional Planning, Masters in Public Administration and was a doctoral candidate in Public Administration at the University of La Verne. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) and has served on the Board of Directors of the American Planning Association (APA), Inland Empire Division, and California.
Mr. Oduyemi sits on the Board of Directors of Coalition for Clean Air, and serves as President of New City Development Group Inc. a real estate development and investment company headquartered in California, Board Chairman of First Gold Energy Global and Board Chairman of Genius Schools in Lagos State, Nigeria.
